Undergraduate Research Assistant, Department of Aerospace Engineering
Rohan joined the lab in the spring of 2020. He is currently developing an Acousto-Optic Modulator (AOM) for frequency tuning. This apparatus, which uses sound waves to diffract and shift the frequency of light, will be used for laser cooling and absorption measurements. Throughout this effort, Rohan has also assisted Hayden with the experimental characterization of the rubidium jet source.
